Koru

This is a relatively new design for us…. ahhh yeah right-circa 2010?. When we had Tuatara Design Store in Whangarei we printed this on a few things including A Line skirts. Again it’s been in hibernation for a few years but now this is probably our biggest seller. Men especially love it in the blues and greys. Is it a little bit butch?- Maybe just not quite so pretty as some of the others. Anyway… we LOVE it and hope you do too.

Of course for us, the Koru is reminiscent of many things- the punga frond, new beginnings, the waves of the ocean, and the continuum and connection between us all. The double spiral is about everything that has been before and everything that continues after. xx
